Situated across the little courtyard is Vale Walnut, a lovely two bedroom cottage, perfect for smaller families with children or a small group of friends.

This cosy cottage is more accessible as it has wide entrances, a wet room and a large ground floor bedroom.

Vale Walnut has an open plan kitchen and living area with wood burning stove and also a relaxing sun-room with fabulous views of the Brecon Beacons. In the living room there are several comfy sofas with a large TV with Amazon Fire Stick to enable you to access your own streaming services. The kitchen is well equipped with electric oven and hob, dishwasher and fridge with ice compartment.

There is also a lovely attic-style twin bedroom, (accessed through a low arched doorway!) and a tiny upstairs toilet – this set up is the perfect hideaway. My children call it the fairy house.

(Please be aware a stair gate has been fitted due to the steep staircase).
