Frequently Asked Questions

Vale Farm Cottages are traditional barns in a courtyard setting that have been recently converted into stylish cottages combining character with modern luxury living. Nestled deep in the heart of Wales within the picturesque Hamlet of Lower Chapel surrounded by scenery that could not fail to impress.

A great location to meet up with family and friends. Large enough to cater for groups and business trips and with the option of having The Coppice function room with kitchen area onsite for parties, conferences and group meetings.

Where needed there are stair gates installed in each cottage- in Wild Cherry there is a removable one that you can put in if needed at the top of the stairs. The Farmhouse has them at the top and bottom of the stairs. Rowan has one at the top of the stairs down to the 3rd and 4th bedroom. Walnut has one at the top and bottom of the stairs. Hornbeam and Chestnut as one at the top of the stairs.

We do not provide bed guards, you are welcome to bring your own if needed.

Yes we welcome dogs at Vale Farm Cottages free of charge. We kindly ask that dogs are kept on leads around the farm due to the amount of livestock around the cottages and farm.

We request that all dogs are fully housetrained, puppies should be over 6 months of age (out of their chewing stage) and are not left on their own due to their young age. Generally we allow dogs to be left alone, as long as they will not become distressed.

We ask that dogs are left without access to the bedrooms or living room. If you wish to bring your own blankets for sofas please do, otherwise please do not allow dogs on the beds or sofas.

We accept 2 dogs in Wild Cherry, Chestnut, Hornbeam and Walnut and up to 3 dogs in Oak, Rowan and the Farmhouse. If you wish to discuss this please contact us.
